Tonight, at 12:33am EST, SpaceX will attempt to launch their Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Hispasat 30W-6 satellite into a Geostationary Transfer Orbit. The launch will take place at Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, FL. The launch window remains open for 2 hours stretching to 2:33am EST with a backup launch window on Wednesday, March 7th, at 12:33am EST.
The first stage on this mission is a new booster and hasn't been previously flown, unlike the last few missions. This booster will have an unlucky fate and will not be attempted to land, because of unfavourable weather in the landing zone area.
A live stream of this mission will be available on www.spacex.com/webcast and will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to launch.
