About me:
My passion for spaceflight began in 2011 when I watched the final Space Shuttle launch on TV—a moment that sparked a lifelong fascination with exploration and engineering. That interest became real on April 10, 2014, when I witnessed my first launch in person: a United Launch Alliance Atlas V. Seeing a rocket leave Earth with my own eyes changed everything.
In 2016, during SpaceX’s CRS-8 mission, that passion turned into action. I began following launches more closely, learning the engineering behind rockets and spacecraft, and documenting each mission to share with others. Fuelled by a deep love for engineering and exploration, I founded Spaceflight News to bring people closer to the rapidly evolving world of spaceflight.
Spaceflight News' Mission:
Spaceflight News exists to make spaceflight accessible, meaningful, and inspiring. My goal is to explain missions in a way that anyone—regardless of background—can understand and feel connected to what’s happening beyond our world. I aim to highlight the work of NASA and the growing aerospace community, showing why continued investment in science and exploration is essential.
At its core, Spaceflight News is about sharing a perspective most people never get to see. Through first-hand coverage and original photography, I capture rockets, spacecraft, and aviation in a way that brings viewers closer to the emotion, scale, and importance of these missions.
Key focuses of Spaceflight News include:
• Teaching others about active missions and spaceflight developments
• Showcasing the work of NASA and aerospace organizations
• Advocating for the importance of science and exploration
