Atlas V delays due to approaching Tropical Storm Idalia

United Launch Alliance's Atlas V rocket in the 551 configuration is set to roll back to the Vertical Integration Facility (VIF) as Tropical Storm Idalia approaches the West coast of Florida. ULA has made this decision out of an abundance of caution for the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) critical security payload and personnel safety. At 3:27am EDT this morning, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket launched from Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. On top of the Falcon 9 rocket is their Crew Dragon spacecraft, capable of carrying up to 7 Astronauts into Orbit. Antares 230+ launches for the final time

On August 1st at 8:31pm EDT, Northrop Grumman's Antares 230+ series rocket launched for the final time from Launch Pad 0A at Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. Underneath the fairing was their Cygnus spacecraft with 8,200 lbs of supplies and experiments for the International Space Station.
